THE
STORIES OF PEARLS OF GREAT PRICE:
A
Nepali girl, one of 5,000 a year trafficked into the red light district of
India. Barely 9 or 10 yrs. old 200,000 girls from the
Himalayas
were scammed into
sexual slavery due to their fair skin. Sold by poor parents, tricked into
fraudulent marriage, or promised employment, they find themselves sold to
brothels. WAR International
offers economical development, allowing women to run businesses from their
homes and villages, supporting themselves to avoid this trap.
A
newborn Thai baby sold for $200.00 to traffickers and rescued at threat of
life through the Emergency 911 fund.
She
is now being processed for adoption into a loving home. Baby trafficking
is on the rise and a developing crisis.
Zora
was tricked into selling her business in
Africa
and moving to
Thailand
where she expected to
start a new business. Instead
she was sold into forced prostitution.
There, safe house staff found her, introduced her to Christ’s
love and a message of value, helped her escape her captors and repatriated
her back to her family with the supplies to start a small family business.
A
woman who was purchased by her owner, as a sex slave, got a little too
“mouthy”, so with the help of some male friends, they poured acid down
the throat of the woman, burning out her lungs and esophagus.
WAR International found her, over half starved to death, with
pneumonia, dying along the side of a road and took her in and gave her
love, self worth and taught her a trade, so she could support herself.
Still unable to speak today, her smile, tells it all.
PEARLS
OF HOPE
Deep
within the darkness of the ocean, nestled on the sandy floor, danger and
beauty lie side by side. In
the ebb and flow of life, living creatures are attacked unfairly. In the
midst of this struggle, a choice is made. As the parasite attacks the
softness of the clam, creation has written a story of hope in the face of
crisis. Slowly over time,
layers and layers of costly experience cover the invader, forming what we
all know as a pearl of great price.
The greater the heat of the water temperature the faster the growth
of the pearl.
So
it is, deep within the hearts and lives of women, danger and beauty live
side by side. In the midst of this story struggle, every woman makes a
choice that will write the story of her life in the sands of time. When
attached she can choose to weave a story of hope in the face of her pain.
Slowly over time, Women At Risk International offers a protected place to
turn this attack into a pearl of great price, hope and unspeakable beauty.

Beautifully
hand crafted homemade pearl and semi precious stone jewelry.
All
items made by the formerly, abused, slavery purchased women.
I
have personally seen this incredible jewelry, and was amazed by the beauty
of the pearls and the jewels the women use.
Absolutely stunning!!! The
pearls are white, pink, salmon, grey, black & green and the semi
precious stones they use to compliment the pearls are incredibly
beautiful. I
looked at one necklace, admiring its beauty and was shocked at the price
tag!!! I looked at the
Missionary in disbelief, “I know,” she said meekly, “I took several
pieces in to be appraised and one of our $40.00 necklaces was appraised at
$400.00 and I was told that a jewelry store would sell them to the public
for $1,000.00 each.” M.V.
KENNELS
100%
