Auasazi

“Hi Karen,

Thought this looked pretty close to our little "Bundle of Joy" "Auasazi".  Our trip home went incredibly smooth and she has adjusted so well in the last week! A stuffed bear made her much less lonely.  She has an outdoor pen with a doghouse in the garage.

All of the neighborhood kids love to wear her out. She goes and goes until she stops and drops and sleeps-just like a baby.  When we walk her around town-We use a leash, but find we can drop our end and she stays with us.  She has never tried to take off in any direction.  Seems very content to stay with us.  She is a calm, happy and friendly to all she meets!! Thank-you for a wonderful family member!!  The Ruffolo Family”

“Hi Karen,

Here's a picture of Beau at our cabin in Montana. He would sit above the river and guard it from all the range cattle and deer. I have never owned a dog that loves the water as much as he does. He will swim in anything from a pond to an ocean and if there is no water close, he tips his water bowl over and rolls in it. He has so much personality! Hope you enjoy the pic, he's getting huge! Thanks again   God bless,    Amy & Beau”

“Hello Karen.

I don't know if you remember us but this is Amy Halbakken originally from WA state and recently moved to CO state. I wanted to send a couple of pics of the dogs and to tell you that they absolutely love it here. I had some issues with them escaping and tracking down the wildlife here but we got an invisible fence and they are now reformed and great! We recently had a photographer come to our house for family pics and she ended up falling in love with our dogs instead so here are a few of the pictures she took of them. She is planning on putting Beau on her website she loved him so much. Thanks for the dogs that mean the world to our family!”

"Karen, does everyone know that we have the best breed of dog in the world?  It's their misfortune if they don't know about the Native American Indian Dog."                              ~Linda

"Hi Karen,
This picture was taken January 11th 2003, and Hodan Cetan is now 90lb. and not even a year old yet!! A most handsome guy for sure!  I had just taken him for his first year shots and had his weight done at the vet as well. She said that he is in excellent shape and wanted to know if he was for sale,( heh heh fat chance) but I gave her your card!!  Naomi is doing real good too, at 65 lbs. Her condition is also excellent and she is such a wonderful pet!!! The  personalities you have bred into your dogs is
exemplary for temperament and sociability as well.              ~Linda

p.s. when I first saw him the cue ball was as big as he was!! Now look at him!!"

Kody

“Hi Karen,

Here is a picture of Kody and Chris. Kody is the son of Otongo and Fantastic Fred and was born March 2003.  Kody is the #1 hit at his doggie day care class and his trainer love him the most and they say he is their star pupil of the dog obedience classes they host.  He is the smartest dog they've ever seen in all their yrs. of teaching obedience classes.  When a new student shows up, Kody is assigned to make the stranger feel right at home.  He is gentle, kind and very patient with new young pups and has them all romping and rolling and playing with other "kids" before the day is even half over.  He stays with us at all times off the leash, wants to be near his Mommy and Daddy at all times, like he has to watch over us and protect us.  We have already taken him back packing with us and is regular "power house" on the rough terrain. Kody has already pulled us up almost unattainable slippery, rugged trails, and was constantly turning around to check to see if we were okay and still following.

He gets along great with our Cockatiel (sp?) and everyone else's dogs.  He LOVES children and is very gentle and calm around them.  We are constantly answering "What kind of dog is he?" And we constantly hear comments like: He is so beautiful!! and he is so smart, how old is he?"   Thanks Again for a wonderful friend and companion.  Katie and Chris”

“I’ve been meaning to write for a long time, but… Mia is doing great – she is a wonderful dog and we spend a lot of time together either walking or around the house – she likes to be in the same room, the next room or outside if that’s where I go. We walk to a nearby reservoir several days a week where she can run off leash and swim. She started off not to keen on the water, but this spring and summer she has really taken to it. Though she will never rival a Lab on fetching sticks, she does go after sticks sometimes and frequently looses interest once she gets near shore. She meets a lot of people and other dogs and really plays well with most. Nearly everyone we meet says she’s beautiful …, and I think she is the best looking dog in town. I’m sending pictures and hope you will put some on your web site so others can see what a beautiful girl she is.

Best regards,

Warren

"Hi Karen,

Just wanted to let you know our pup is an absolute wonder.  She went to work with me last Friday and was a huge hit!!! She stayed only in my area all day, played with her toys and slept.  Not one time did she have an accident!  Everyone remarked at what a wonderful disposition and obedient dog she was! And only 6 weeks old! We are working on the house training thing and making headway there.  She only goes at night if she can't wake us up.  Although independent at first, she likes cuddling up now in bed.  She had her first tractor ride, and wasn't impressed, but Karl says that will change as she gets older.  She stays close to us at the farm and lays around while we work.  We love her to death!! Thanks Trena"

"Hey, Karen!
Just wanted to send you a photo of the most beautiful dog in the world!! (not prejudice of course..lol) Sakari is on her favorite thing.  The truck.  She loves laying on the truck at the farm.  She is completely house broken at 4 months old and loves to play in the pond. (when she's not chasing the ducks...hmmm)  She has such beautiful coloring and a great personality.  Already is showing protective traits and is the apple of Karl's eye.  He spoils her terribly and she loves it.  She weighs over 40 lbs now and can stand on her back legs and look down on the counters in the kitchen. (when mom's not watching...)  Thanks again, for the wonderful addition to the family.

Trena and Karl"

“Hey, Karen
Just an updated pic of Sakari Nodin.  She is a water baby!  Loves the boat, swimming and the lake.  We'll have to work on her staying out of the water when we scuba, though.  She jumped in when we went underwater and wouldn't come out until we surfaced...lol  What protective instincts!  Thanks again for such a wonderful addition to the family.  She's grown so much! 5 months old and weighs over 60 lbs!

Trena and Karl”

“Hey, Karen!

How are you doing?  Wow, what cute puppies!!! We are head over heels about Sakari.  She is very personable and loves everyone! (almost - she hates Karls uncle.  She's an excellent judge of character!!!lol!!)

What personality!  Inquisitive, has to know what you're doing and if she can get into anything to help... lol...  Could we get her bred with one of your fabulous males? What would the fee be?  We will then have her fixed after she has one liter.  Karl wants to see her as a mommie.  She is an absolute wonder with children and other dogs.  Very gentle.

Well, see you soon.  Trena and Karl...”

“Hi  Karen,

…What can I say.  She is an absolute wonder!!  She loves being with us... anywhere.  She had her first ride in the semi-truck and immediately claimed the bed as hers...  She is always right there watching us up close and seeing if she can hand us tools (or run off with to get us to chase her).  Karl and I have never seen a dog with such a personality.  She is a very personable, curious and affectionate little girl (at 92 lbs) and has won our hearts completely.   Thanks again for our daughter...

Love Trena and Karl....”

"Karen,

Hi! It's Brent and Jenni Frey from Nebraska . We adopted Takoda Bear in April of 2003,  and he is the most wonderful companion we could ask for.  We check your website ften, and we were awful sorry to hear about your husband. You gave us wonderful Takoda, and it breaks our hearts to know someone wonderful was taken from you. As the holidays approach you will be in our thoughts!
I can't tell you how much Takoda means to us. He is the most faithful and loyal friend one could ask for. Our friends and family were leary of him at first, but they soon learned that he is a gentle giant and fell in love with him, too. What amazes us most is how protective he is of our Shih tzu, Pedro.  They have truly formed a brotherly bond.
Takoda spends the hot Nebraska summers swimming in the Missouri river .  It is so fascinating to watch him swim because he is so graceful and makes it look effortless. He spends the cold winters playing in the snow and walking with me and Pedro, never taking his eye off us! He loves his walks!
Thank you again for wonderful Takoda. He has filled a void in our life and our home. In the morning when I feel that warm nose nudging me to get up and hear him squeek, I am able to start the day with a smile!

Best wishes for the holidays!

Brent and Jenni"

“Hi Karen ,
We love our puppy, She gets along famously with our other dog Sampson. She treats him like her big brother. If Waste can not reach Sampson then he lays down so that she can reach him to play with. Waste likes to lay on the back of the couch when we are on it and lay behind our heads. She loves to be outside and follows us or Sampson every where.
                                          Thanks Karen,

“Hello,

Hope everyone doing fine.  .

Well the trip home was just fine, at first Yamni Cheyenne did not care about the house but she`s fine now,  she is just wonderful with all the kids, and everyone stops to talk to her if she is out front, she runs the whole yard front and back but if she hears a kid she comes running, I can`t believe how smart she is, knows how to open doors, even the fridge (which is not good--lol ) knows my daughter, and the grandchildren by name, she will go get them if you give her a name and tell her to go find them.  She loves the long walks, the one in the woods especially. Her best dog friend is our neighbors, Jack Russel.  She is now 5 months old and 38lbs. She`s getting so big.  We're taking her to the Indian fest in Tionsta , Pa Saturday.  We hope to get another dog from you in the future.
So thanks again for Cheyenne and take care.
Gary , Diane, Shelsea, and Cheyenne .”

“Hello All,

Just dropin a note it is 8/8/05 and Yamni-Cheyenne is just over 2 years old,, she is doing great,

Better than me,, I was in a bad Ladder fall, 30 ft to the ground, and the day it happened Yamni, went to the sidewalk in the front yard by the street and howled all day long,... how could she have known?

I was in a coma for 8 weeks then in a rehab-hospital another 8 weeks ,  I'm learning how to walk and talk and function as a some what normal person again.  My girl Yamni was sick and would not eat much until I got back home,

When I got home she would not let anyone but my Wife and Daughter near me at all.

She`s like my best friend in the world.

We hope to move in about a year, to a place with many acres , and get another dog from you.

As you can see she loves ling on the bed,, just like a kid,, lol

Hope to see you all soon!!!
