| “Karen,
Made the trip in about 12 hours. We decided on "Agustus"(son
of Pida & Ohapi Pui) for the pup. Gus for short. He did well on
the trip. One small bout of car sickness, but otherwise ok. He is
something else! Tucker (son of Glacier Ice & Catori SID) was
suspicious at first, then tried to assert himself. Little Gus doesn't take
Sh*#! He gave as good as he got, and then some. Of course he and Tucker
were up all night playing. They spent the day playing and sleeping as
well, and are the best of buddies already. Little Gus has absolutely
no problem going after big Tucker, and though the tug-o-war is generally
one-sided, Gus won't let go or give up, even though he gets dragged across
the room. Gus has already mastered the stairs outside and the dog
door. Intelligent little cuss.
Thank you so much for these little guys. I have included some pics.
I hope all is well with you and yours.
Regards,
Shawn” |

| “Hi
Karen,
I just
wanted to thank you again, we have named the little guy Harley!
He
is just as sweet as can be, he was great all the way home, to New York,
via Canada, there has been no potty problems either, he lets know
when he has to go at our home and even on the way home he did!
Also thanks for the great tour of your kennel. Your dogs are amazing
and terrific. Darcy & Tony”

“HI Karen
I am sorry it's
taken so long to send some pics, computer problems, well , here are a few
of our handsome little boy, I must say though he is growing like a weed,
and learning new things all the time, he loves attention, which he gets
tons of from family and friends, and he has made friends of his own too.
He recently tried to make friends with a wood bee, and found out they
don't make such good friends- he got stung on his snout, but he's fine. He
goes to school, and he likes that a lot. He's such a good boy!!! I wish we
had more room, we would love to have a few more like Harley!

“Hi Karen,
Enclosed is a … recent picture of him. He is such a joy
and such a "puppy" at times! lol!!
He loves water, people and all other animals. Everyone who
meets him loves him. He has made many friends especially those at
all the pet stores we frequent. People are amazed at how soft his fur is
and the fact that he doesn't smell like a dog.
I
saw the photo on your website of Harley's sister, Wastena, also the
daughter of M.V.'s Ohapi Pui and M.V.'s Pida, she is beautiful and looks
just like our Harley. If you
have any updated pics of her I'd love to see them. Well, we will keep in
touch. Take care & God bless. Darcy, Tony &
Harley” |

| "Dear Karen,
Another dog update and new picture (from the weekend). Kaya, our
NAID continues to amaze and impress us and the dogs and people she
meets. She has become fast friends wit a Blue Tick Hound in the
neighborhood and has almost daily play dates with him. These two
dogs have serious energy, but never get hyper. It's so much fun to
watch her running around at high speeds, cornering "on a
dime". She is so agile and getting stronger every day!
She also can be so gentle and calm when she's inside or when there are
little dogs or children around. Kaya loves to snuggle and get full
body contact and belly rubs around bed time (and helps me get to bed at a
decent hour). She exhibits unceasing patience with my niece (5 years
old) and nephew (2 years old) who delight in chasing her around the house,
grabbing her toys and tugging her fur. She never gets upset or
snappy with them -just goes to the bedroom when she needs a break.
She's a decent hunter, and is helping get the mole/vole population in our
yard back under control. Kaya is very communicative - through body
language and "vocal", and I'm doing better in speaking her
language, even as she seems to be mastering understanding English.
Although she rarely barks, she does "talk" a lot and is very
good about letting me know when I need to stop working and play with her
or take us both on a hike. My husband and I are looking forward to
getting Kaya a younger brother from you whenever Nature sees fit! We
tell Kaya that she will be a big sister some day and sometimes I swear she
understands what we are saying!
Sincerely,
Karen" |

“Hi Karen -
I've attached a couple of pictures of
Maui
- he loves the water. What a sweetie he is - but he does keep me on
my toes. Today I put him out in the pen without our other dog for a
little while and next thing I know - I hear a banging at the side kitchen
door - yes it was him - he decided it was time to come in and went over
the fence and knocked!
The other day it was a race to get the ripe blueberries off the bush
before him! He definitely is growing quickly.

“Hi Karen -
Here is an updated picture of
Maui
. He is the son of M.V.'s Pida and Ohapi Pui. He weighed in at
75 lbs at 9 months old! He is beautiful and sweet - loves children.
We walk every day and people always stop to ask about him. He is
friendly with every person and dog he meets. He can always make me
smile!

“Karen:
Here are some pictures of both Nino
and Duke. He and Nino get along just great and play almost all
the time. We are very happy we got Nino a play
mate and we really like Duke. He is doing all the puppy
things like digging and some others but he is worth it.
I think he may be bigger than Nino because he is a
real chow
hound already eats twice as much as Nino and has grown tremendously
since we got him.
There is no doubt he will be a very good dog.
They are both great and we thank you very much.
Do you think Nino looks like Whitney, we both do. She
(Whitney) is what got us to get a NAID.
