“Hi Karen,

I'm hoping you can add pictures of Aspen to your website. She is the daughter of Sunjka Wakan and Dakota Durango. She's such a great dog, what a personality! She's great with kids, great with other animals, and simply awesome to have around. She's such a great looking dog I just think she should be shown on your site as one of Sunjka Wakan's offspring.

Thanks,

Mike”

The pups in the picture are Shiloh (sitting), the pup in the contest with MilkBone brand dog biscuits, son of Ultimate Ukiahya and "Looker" and  Shawnee (laying down), a two yr. old female from Sunjka Wakan and Kichuwa.  Both of these dogs are going on a big adventure with their owner and over 100 horses and their riders up through California, through Oregon and Washington state up thru Alaska through Canada and then all the way back down to Southern Calif. and home.  Rick picked this breed of dog because they can keep up with the horses and protect  the horses and their riders from Mt. Lions and Grizzlies that they may meet on their 1000 plus mile journey.  They embark spring '06.

“Dear Karen,
Hi there, Shawnee is still doing well and a good friend. Still very please with him after all these years (6 years now). He is a big hit when we go different places. I have taken him up to Gettysburg for "History Meets the Arts" about 2 years ago and an artist there took some photos of Shawnee for a future piece. Well last week I had a phone call from the artist and he wanted some head shots of Shawnee . I took some and took them up to Lord Nelson's Gallery in Gettysburg and they are sending them to John Weiss, who is known for his works on dogs. He is hoping to have it ready by April 18th weekend for "History Meets the Arts" this year. Just thought you'd like to know that. Well take care and keep up the good work with the dogs. A Very Satisfied Customer, Joseph DiMaggio”

“Karen:   My Tonto has come into my life in a time of big change, I was so so happy in getting this life when I did.  When we got this ball of fur that I love so so much, I had just lost my 10 year old shepherd mix, MOKE, to cancer, that same week end we also lost our 6 year old dagu, named Davy Dagu to cancer, then we found out on my puppies birthday, that following Monday that the pancreas cancer that my mom had spead to her liver.  My mom enjoyed watching this ball of life grow as I did, and I thank you so so much, that you don't know how much that meant to me in gettng my baby Tonto.  Thank you Karen.  He went to classes, he is a good boy, I am making him his own room with a dog door to an out door kennel.  He loves by by car and he is very gental.

Tonto Wanageeska, is living with his half brother Frodo right now while construction is going on, he only is two blocks away, and I see him every day.  Tonto went through some puppy classes, he can sit, bow, laydown, speak, for treats, and he does this every day.

We got Tonto when he was so so young, my mom was with us till Tonto was 7 months old. Tonto will be now 2 years in a couple of weeks, how time flies.

This is from me, Claudia Ivey, and in memory of my mom Elizabeth E. Mahin.

“Our guy and girl have quickly acclimated to the California lifestyle!  They went to my dentist with me this morning and accompanied Frankie (our rabbit) to his checkup at the vet. Everyone, everywhere, thinks the dogs are magnificent. After all the excitement, Pacante fell dead  asleep in the landscaping in our backyard!
