The Native American Shepherd 

registered with the "Designer Breed Registry" (DBR), by combining the Belgian Sheepdog (aka the Dutch Shepherd) and the Native American Indian Dog(R).  Indian Dogs 4 U has created another wonderful, friendly, outgoing, happy-go-lucky... and…Yes, Hypoallergenic! dog breed.  

Based on research done & information found in a copy of a 1930's dog breed publication, the "Dutch Shepherd" was a 50 to 65lbs dog, with a long double hair coat & was pure black in color. Nowdays, they are brindle colored, but they were originally pure black.

After many years, the breed became known as a Belgian Shepherd, which was the foundation breed for the Groenendael, also known today as the Belgian Sheepdog, the Belgian Tervuren, & the Belgian Malinois, which were based on weight & height, hair coat coloration & hair coat length.  The Belgian Sheepdog or Groenendael was Majestic View's foundation breed for the Native American Shepherd.

I'm just quickly getting in touch to congratulate you on producing such amazing dogs! I love them all! The Native American Shepherd strikes me with something more though... the idea of combining a Belgian Shepherd with an NAID is brilliant. And the results are beautiful!

Can I ask if you're the only breeder of Native American Shepherds because I really think people will want them.. I know I certainly do.
 
Anyway, I won't be able to get a dog for a few years yet, seeing as I'm still a student, but, I thought I should let you know that all of your dogs are wonderful, I just hope one day I'll be lucky enough to own one!

He is very loving and loves to meet people and is doing great on walks. He took to the leash with no problem and I must say is quite the couch potato, and what a joy he is.
