"Dear Karen,
We met Clint off the highway last night to pick up little RootBeer.
On the way home he was really timid and scared - understandable after his
long journey to FL. As soon as we got him home, his personality
changed and he was a little ball
of fire. He is so adorable and Jess could not be happier!
He seems to already respond to 'sit' and loves playing fetch with his
duck. I have attached a couple pics from last night and I am sure
you will be getting plenty more through the years.
Thank you so much for the food, leash, collar and info. We noticed Hebrew
writing on his pedigree certificate and wanted to know what that was all
about (as my name is Hebrew)?
Thanks again,
Doron"

“Hi Karen,
I wanted to touch base with you and let you know how
our little one is doing. We changed Root Beer's name to
Darwin
, because Jess & I both love science.
He is an absolute pleasure. I take him to the
park quite regularly, where he plays with his good buddy Max (the beagle).
We are in our 7th week of puppy training and he is learning very
fast. He is really a joy to have in our home.
I took him to the vet yesterday and he now weighs 39 lbs at 4 months
old!!! We think he is going to be massive. I have attached a couple
photos.
Take care,
Doron”

“Dear Karen,
I am sending
you some recent pictures of
Darwin
. He is such a sweet dog. So playful and well behaved for a 6
month old puppy. He is quite smart too and stubborn sometimes, but
overall a great dog. He did really well in puppy training. He
was quite a show off. Every time the trainer used him as the example
he always performed well. He responds to most of our commands.
He’s still working on ‘stay’ and ‘come’ (which he usually
won’t do without a treat).
We have
discovered that he loves to dig holes in the yard and hates to be alone.
He loves my dad’s dog Cody (a German
Shepherd). We take him over to see him at least once a week.
He has the time of his life. Thank-you again for such a wonderful
boy! Jessica”
