“Hi Karen,
I wasn't sure if you got my email or not, so I am sending this message
with pictures of our Sibercaan, Majestic View's Vanilla Ice Hondo (Hondo
will be his call name).
The Puppy is doing GREAT!!!
He gets along well with my older dog, although she's still not too sure
what to think of Hondo.
No potty messes in the house or in the pet taxi. He is AWESOME!!!
Goes to the door and whines if he wants out, or if asked if he "has
to go potty" he eagerly heads to the door. He goes pee in the same
spot every time and has sought out the sand by the woods for his duty
rather than in the grass in the yard. He has done this every time!
He just had his first bath, of which he wasn't to sure about, but then
realized the massage part was fun!
He didn't seem to be bothered by the vaccuum being run in the house,
nor by the neighbor boy cranking up Nick's bass boomer or his additional
loud speakers. So loud noises don't seem to make him skittish. We
went shopping and out to eat for a few hours yesterday, while he stayed at
home in his extra large pet taxi, and guess what? No accidents!
Although we have just gotten Hondo, I get the feeling that he is highly
intelligent, trainable, protective type of dog that will serve our family
well, as both guardian and as a pet. Thank You for our Sibercaan.

“Hi Karen!
Just wanted to give you an update on our Sibercaan Vanilla Ice
"Hondo". He is doing quite well! He is learning to alert us when
a person enters the property or home, but usually is NOT a barker. He is
probably a 50/50 dog... meaning he is housebound 50% of the time and
outdoors 50% of the time. He is quite energetic and spends many hours
running and playing in the fenced in yard as well as playing with our
other dog Shayna and going for walks on the property with whichever family
member grabs the leash for that trip. He does pretty well walking with the
leash, has pretty much learned to "sit", needs some work still
on "down", and has figured out that "NO" means
"NO" and he trots off to his bed when he hears the word and has
pretty much associated "NO" with punishment for wrong doing. He
usually stays on his bed until you give him permission to move, if he has
been sent there for whatever he was told "no" on. He still does
a lot of sleeping, but that's what a puppy does when he's not playing or
eating. Hondo is doing well
with the house-training, very minimal potty "incidents", and
usually if it occurs, it is because we did not notice him waiting by the
door to go out, or failed to let him out in a timely manner when he
"whined" to be let out. He doesn't talk as much as he first
did--but he still on occasion sounds
like he says "I Love You Momma". He also is learning to
"shake" paws/hands. We
love our Sibercaan! He is getting so big now! He is almost as tall as
Shayna when he sits beside her! I think he's gonna be kind of a mid-sized
to larger dog---my guess would be 50-60 lbs. but I guess we will see. Oh
and he is getting the cutest freckles on his nose, and on occasion you can
see some dark patches of hair around his eyes, behind his ears, and on his
low back. It should be interesting to see if he starts to gain
"color" and taking on his mothers characteristics. Right now, he
looks just like his daddy, Majestic View's Kool Whipped.....what a
handsome Lil' devil!

“Hi Karen!
Just wanted to give you an update on "Hondo".
I was watching Alexis (my grandbaby) the other day, she's almost 6 months
old now, when she latched on to Hondo's whiskers and gave them a BIG twist
and pull!! His response??? He just sat there, no bared teeth, no
growl, no nothing, except the "look of mom help me!" When
Alexis' grip was released, he went and laid down beside her playpen
without being told to do so.
Later on that day, Alexis was sleeping in her playpen while I was doing
dishes. After awhile, Hondo
noticed her waking up, and proceeded to the kitchen and "DOGGY
TALKED" (which he does often) and was trying to tell me she was
awake. After I took her out of
the play pen, he sat at our feet and allowed her to pet, pull, and tug at
his fur on the top of his head. I think he really likes her!
And she loves him! Her eyes light right up and she grabs for him
when she sees him! He seems to be very well mannered with her!
Just thought you'd like to know!
Take Care! Carol
P.S. I am watching Alexis tonight, I will try to get a picture of them
together to send to you!”
