| “Hello Karen,
Sorry for not responding in a while things
have been hectic. We love our new puppy
Kota
(son of Vashti and Vanilla Bean). He was 50
pounds last time we took him to the vet. He is so adorable and funny.
Every time we walk him he gets complimented on his huge ears. He has been
a wonderful dog house training was a snap and so was obedience training...
Thank
you, the Holasek’s”

“Karen,
Here is an updated picture of our
Kota
. He is now around 70 pounds and still growing.
Kota
has been just wonderful to have around the
house. He is wonderful with kids too. Recently I had my niece and nephew
over for a couple days and
Kota
did wonderful. He allowed them to pet him and
play with him all they wanted he didn’t growl or show aggression in any
way. Sibercaans are definitely amazing dogs.
Thank
you, Patty Holasek” |

| “Karen,
We named our pup Neela (daughter of Vashti
and Vanilla Bean) she has been incredible thus far. We have arrived
to our destination we had to stop overnight in a pet friendly hotel.
We were somewhat concerned about how she would do, but she was great.
She even whined to let us now she needed to go out. Also she has
been an excellent traveler, she gets very unsettled when she needs to
go to the bathroom, (no accidents though) but the remainder of the time
she just sleeps. Every once in a while she will play with a chew toy
but she has been very laid back which we are happy about. We were a little
concerned about her eating since she wasn't very interested in the dry
kibble, only eating a few pieces every so often. But when we got
home we went to the grocery store and got some chicken 1/4's and French
vanilla ice cream (we know you said she was used to that) and she chowed
on the chicken and later in the evening we gave her a little bit of ice
cream and she loved it. We can't seem to get her to like any
particular treat though. We have tried a few and she hasn't
been interested. Only reason is we would like to do reward based training
so if you have any ideas on what she may like that would be great.
Overall we are very happy and grateful we have such an intelligent pup.
Thanks for inventing such a wonderful breed.
Thanks Again
Jared and Serena”

“Karen,
Sorry it has been so long since I have emailed you. But Neela
(daughter of Vashti and Vanilla Bean) is doing wonderful. She is
completely potty trained now and growing quickly. We went to the vet
last week for her last round of shots and she had gained about 12 lbs in 2
weeks or so. So know she is 36lbs. We are very happy with her.
She is good with everyone and also our neighbors' dogs. I am
attaching a recent pic. of her Hope things are going good with you
we will keep you up to date with Neela.
Talk to you later

| “Hi Karen,
We've
named our guy Niko and as you can see he looks like his mama. He has
been so amazing! We have never owned a dog and he has been so quick
to learn many commands and potty training was a breeze. Niko is so
gentle and sweet with our three kids (ages 7,4,1). He is
hilarious when we take him the vet, he tries to lick and love every single
person there, They all think he is just so sweet and handsome. He
really is beautiful, we don't go anywhere and not have people comment on
how gorgeous he is. He truly is remarkable! Thank you so much for
all the hard work you put in to create these amazing pups. We
promise to keep you updated.
Take care and god bless,
Steve and Amy Shettler”

“Hi Karen,
We thought to send you a recent photo of our SiberCaan Niko (Vashti and
Vanilla bean). He's been a great dog.
He's very energetic and likes playing with our children. He's
found a new trait, Niko loves tracking and removing all moles from our
yard, go figure. He loves playing in the woods and
digging... not such a desired trait in my flower gardens.
We are always receiving compliments on how beautiful he is and his
unique markings. Thanks again for creating such an amazing breed.
Sincerely,
Steve and Amy”

| “Hello Karen,
Shaw is the companion dog that I had hoped for. It has been a
year and I wanted to send you some pictures. My boy has spent the
past year traveling between mountain ranch and our home in town. He
has a large extended family
including his "sister" a shepard on the ranch,
other dog playmates and people young and old. He displays different
personality for different people. He really just loves me the best,
secondly my mom is some special attachment and he will literally crawl in
her lap if we would let him. He only likes to sit with the men
around the fire pit
to watch the moon come up over the peak. He gets into mischief
with my busy 5 year old son and will tolerate any and all
pretend play with our 4 year old daughter. She bosses him and he
just loves her. His favorite pass time is taking me on walks and
hikes on the mountain and to our amazement he is trying to learn to knit.
Those wooden knitting
needles are pretty much a one time use in his grasp but we are
working on the winding of the ball. He is a lofty hunter of moles,
potato bugs and all crawling critters. He is amazingly gentle
with those teeth when he brings me a grub for a gift.
You are welcome to use any of his pictures on your web page. I
think his color outcome is an example of uncertain change. He
started out a blue pup and he is now that shinny vanilla bean ice
cream color with a patch of gray on his tail. I
love his color and he looks so much like Vanilla Bean. I am
wondering if VB was light as a pup? My boy is weighing in at about
70 lb and he thinks he is big so we are not telling him that his brother
on the web page is a whopping 120 pounder.
We love our Shaw dog and have many stories to tell, but that is enough
of my rambling for now.
Many Thanks,
Monica” |

| “Hi
Karen!
I just thought I'd send you a picture
and an update on Wiley, my Sibercaan male son of Vashti and Vanilla Bean
born Nov. 27, 07. He is such a wonderful puppy, very curious and sweet. He
has a great disposition and everywhere we go people have to come pet him
and tell me how handsome he is. He's about 45lbs of pure puppy love and so
smart. House training was a snap, and we started obedience this week, so
far so good! Thank you very much, he's wonderful and I just love him to
pieces. Hope all is well over there in
Michigan
and that Vashti has made a full recovery
:-) Roxanne”

“Hi Karen
Wiley, my Sibercaan, son of M.V.'s Vanilla Bean(Sibercaan) and son
of M.V.'s Vashti (NAID) is awesome!!
He
has proven to be the most cunning of escape artists, defying all the
'Invisible Fence' tricks and tatics, laughing at his 5 1/2 foot fence and
he has even learned how to open doors! His new favorite thing is to
escape, go next door, open the front door and let the little neighbor dogs
out to play. He never runs away, it seems like he just wants to prove that
he can get out. We are almost done with obedience training, he's been very
good at that also. In addition, I had plans of training him to become a
Wilderness Search and Rescue dog and although he does not seem even the
least bit interested in that game (maybe you have an idea on getting him
motivated for that?), he does seem to excel in therapy dog guidelines;
I've been taking him to my grandmother's nursing home and he walks around
there letting everyone pet him and love him like it's his job. We also
have been asked to visit with special needs adults. I'm hoping to have him
be a certified therapy dog this summer. He is the most gentle soul ever.
He has also proven to be a natural supermodel. About 3 weeks ago while
training with him, a professional wildlife photographer approached us and
asked if he could take pictures of Wiley, I let him and have attached some
of the pictures...The photographer took about 300 pictures in all. He is
the most wonderful dog, thanks again.
Roxanne”

“Season Greetings!!!
Mr. Wiley is a very happy and silly boy. The snow
here in
Seattle
has made him the happiest and craziest dog around, he is so excited about
it. He is now famous at the dog park and around the neighborhood and
people are starting to actually remember what breed he is! We had to wait
until he was 1 year old to take our Therapy
dog test, and now I'm just waiting until after the new year, when
life goes back to normal and chaos rests for awhile. My grandmother's
nursing home said they'd write a recommendation for us to the Delta
Society if we wanted, because he's so amazing with the elders (just have
to work on getting him to stop focusing so hard on those darn tennis balls
on the bottom of the walkers, hahaha!). Although he can't escape at home,
he did learn how to open the car door from the inside, so we have to be
extra sure to lock it. He's only done this once, but was waiting
oh-so-patiently outside 7-11 for us, haha. He weighs about 120lbs now. And
is such an excellent excellent animal. I'm not sure how I managed without
his silly face, even with other dogs around, life must have been empty. I
hope you and your pack are well.
Thanks
Roxanne”

“Hey Karen,
Just thought I'd send you a pic. of the boys! :-)
They are like two peas in pod!! Atlas, (Siberian Indian dog: sire
Petaga, dam Whya Timber) is just what Wiley, (Sibercaan:
sire Vanilla Bean, dam, Vashti) needed, and thus far Wiley has proven to be a dedicated babysitter and patient
chew toy and Atlas has proven to be a very brave and curious little
monster!!! Thank you so much!! We love our doggies!

| “Oh
Karen, I am so glad to hear that Vashti is thriving. Give the lady a
big hug for me.
I just gave
Willow
a bath
tonight and his coat is gorgeous! He has taken the landing on our
stairs as his throne room for where he watches his family and chews on the
pile of bone toys that he hoards there. What a dear he is, he must
get it from his mom.
Take care,
Brenda”
