“Hi Karen,

Sequoia (daughter of M.V.'s Copper Flame and M.V.'s Pida, SID female) is doing fabulous, she enjoys escaping through the door to outside before we have a chance to put her leash on, resulting in us chasing after her throughout the yard.  She has started coming when called and is getting her name a little better, she also knows when she wants her treat/food she has to sit and take the treat gently.  She is also learning not to bite and jump on people as much.  She is a really smart puppy, she learned 'sit' in a matter of about ten minutes, she doesn't have it completely down yet, but she is getting there.  Sequoia, and our golden, Sugar, are becoming good buds, they cuddle with each other constantly and play tug-of-war with their toys (as shown in some of the pictures).  Sugar also teaches her not to take his food, toys, and not to play tug-of-war with his fur, which Sequoia also does with our other dog, Lucy.   Hope everything is going well at Majestic View.  Jesi Knight”

“Hey Karen,
I finally got my computer fixed. Kya SID (Pida and Copper Flame pup) is doing really well.  She got spayed and recovered great.  Since I work at the vet's office I was able to stay with her while she recovered and she never had to stay in the kennel.  I'm not sure if I told you in the last email how much she loves water.  Every chance she gets she is in the water, either the pond at the back of our property, or the horses outside water buckets, she'll even come in the shower.  I've attached two pictures of her. One when she was a small puppy and a more recent picture of her.   She is 6 months and 40lbs.  People always comment on how calm and well behave she is.  She really is a great dog!
