“Hi Karen!

Happy Holidays! One week ago today we were anticipating the arrival of our new family addition. We surprised our son with her and he was in total shock that we actaully gave him a puppy for Christmas.  He always thought that his allergies would hinder him from loving and caring for a puppy.  He was speechless!

So , we just wanted to let you know how well our new girl, Nakoda, is doing with her new family!  My son and husband who both have severe allergies and asthma, have shown no reactions to her which has totally blown us away. She is such a beautiful, smart puppy and our training is going great.  She listens intently with subtle commands and is loving her treats after every potty break which is very frequent!  Her nights are rough but we expect in a few more days she will be past her insecurity.  She is scheduled for puppy classes at PetSmart on the 9th and her first visit to the vet on the 6th.  We want to thank  you again for such a beautiful dog, she is bringing us more happiness that we did not think was possible in one short week.”

“Hello Karen,
I hope this email finds you well. I just wanted to update you on Reagan, son of Sakata Cedar and Thunder Beast. He's a total sweetheart. Everyone he's met loves him! People are always asking about him, and every time someone sees him, they always comment about his beautiful blue eyes! Since I'm home-schooled, I take care of him the most. He's growing and growing fast! At his first vet appointment, he was a little over 20 lbs, but two weeks later, when we took him again, he had put on six pounds! He's a cute lovable pup who loves to play tug-of-war, fetch, and the let's-chew-everything-in-sight game. I enclosed some pictures of him. He's the perfect puppy for someone like me, who's been waiting for one for over 10 years. I love him and his personality! Thanks so much for answering my emails so quickly during our decision to get Reagan.

Just yesterday, I was able to hear him howl for the first time. We had let him outside to run around and during that time, the fire station siren went off. We live within the mile of the station, so we hear it very clearly every time. Reagan heard it also, and he must've thought that it was another dog howling, because he lifted his head and started howling! It was so beautiful! I wanted to stand there and just listen, but then I came to and started going crazy running for a camera. I was unable to catch him in time, but the siren goes off often for drills, so I'm carrying the camera with me from now on.”

“Hi Karen,

Winnie is doing great!  Everybody loves her and she’s a hit at doggie daycare!  There’s a doggie door to an outside play area that’s several acres and she spends a lot of time outside.  She has friends that are big and small and even a cat.  I thought you might like some more pictures.  She’s growing fast!  She already knows sit, down, paw (shake), up and jumps right into the car or truck to go for a ride.”
